Internet Stock Brokers and trading

I'm a huge business in college with a stock market fund. I've been playing with the stock of years using programs such as up-down.com (with fake money to invest and learn). Now I have $ 800 and several years of knowledge to play with in the stock market. I do not know much more about Internet stock brokers, but I have two questions: 1) I am looking for a cheap internet broker .. what you suggest? 2) When the list that 5.99 per transaction would be worth getting a runner? * (I have $ 800 and if the shares to invest is 20.00 then the amount of fees you'll pay does not look good compared to a more expensive stock … fewer shares and rates).

I think you're a bit confused about how the Internet commission brokers. Most online brokers charge a flat fee rate, ie at the rate provided is the cost per transaction.
