Can Indian trade stocks UK as a UK citizen?

I am interested in being able to trade stocks and Nifty Bag BSE in India, but I am a citizen of the United Kingdom. "Some companies allow you to trade CFDs, or actions of the Indian company Spreadbet?

I think HBOS has a subsidiary that lets you buy shares foreighn but the cost is high.
